Looking at new tvs and on display models they seem clearer with HDMI3 cost more, but I don’t want to count on demo models being all set up to display correctly. I’m not tech minded so a basic answer would help.

I know nothing about Graphics cards. I have Dell inspiron 530, 300 Watt power supply, onboard graphics, 4MB ram, 2 CD Players, SB sound card. I do not play games, but want to connect pc to HDTV via HDMI. Have decent Dell E228WPCs monitor and have old eyes(!). Not after a high end card just a nice one. Any suggestions?

I’m 15, and for Christmas I either want an iPhone ($400) or a 27 inch HD TV (around $500). So what should I ask for. And I need an honest opinion because this is a big part of my life for the next few years. And just so you know I’m not spoiled or anything (lol), I’m paying $200 of it. But yeah, just give me a good reason to get one of them, cause I have no idea what to get. What are some pros and cons?
