The Good One asked:
Im confused, it said HD next to it and I clicked download and now on iTunes on the download list its downloading both the normal and HD. Does this mean Ive paid for the normal as well?
Also it says time remaining 2 hours and tv 59 mins, both longer than the actual show will it actually take that long? Cos before it didnt say that long the time left has gone up.
Thanks

I just got a tv with a built in HD tuner. I live in an apartment complex in LA that doesn’t have cable. However, I can get DirecTV using the big dish on top of the building. That dish is not configured for HD. Beause neither cable or satellite is avialable to me, I bought an HD antenna from Circuity City. I was hoping that I can watch a few local HD channels (like KNBC, KABC, etc). The regular channel for KABC is channel 7. Do I have to tune into a different channel for its HD version? Right now, when I tune into regular channel 7, it looks like plain old (snowy) analog.

I have a progressive scan dvd player with upconversion (my understanding is that hd can only be acheived through its hdmi output) and an hd lcd tv that only have a vga input (no dvi or hdmi). can i buy cable adapters to convert the hdmi output to plug into the vga input? I was thinking of getting a hdmi to dvi cable and then using a dvi to vga cable to plug into the tv. is this possible? I’m new to hd so any help is appreciated thanks.
