What does playing your favorite video games feel like now that you have your new flat screen LCD HD TV,do you ever feel like the picture is ready to jump out of the TV at you or do you feel your heart dropping?
Do you see anything different that you didn’t see when you had your old dusty broken down heavy tube TV?

I’m thinking about hanging a flat-screen TV on the chimney breast of an active fireplace. Although the chimney is made of thick stone I’m still concerned that the heat may have a bad effect on the TV set. Has anybody else tried something similar?

I presently have a tube-tv (that is now broken), but I want to hang a flat screen over the hole that currently holds the tube tv.

We have a 46 inch flat screen tv. About 2 months a ago the LCD lamp went out and we replaced it with a new one. The tv seemed to work just fine with no problems. Then yesterday we noticed a translusent blue patch in the bottom left hand corner (about 2 inches in length). It doesn’t interfer with viewing but it seems to be getting bigger and is annoying. Why is it doing that? Is there anyway to fix this?
The TV is a Sony bought in Sioux Falls, SD at Karl’s TV three years ago. We also bought an extended warrenty on it for three years also. Thanks for the replys.
